Hazelnut Festival in Donald, Oregon
Hazelnut Festival festivities will begin at 11:00 a.m., July 11, with:
- A parade which will feature young marines as well as a 17′ replica of the iconic WWII Iwo Jima flag raising.
- Food and drink, including beer will be available for purchase and a BBQ contest is planned as well.
- Live music on the main stage by local artists will be sure to entertain
- A Classic Car Cruise-In, sponsored by the local company, GK Machinery, is expected to have over 100 vehicles on display
- Vendors and local artisans will offer unique items and a special Hazelwood Boats display will be of special interest to attenders.
- Period actors from Champoeg State Heritage area will be mingling through the crowd and large agricultural machinery will be on display
The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and promises to be a fun day for the whole family. Donald, Oregon is located two miles West of I-5 from the Aurora exit 278.
